The top three contenders to replaced Zev Yaroslavsky on the powerful Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors were working for votes in the days leading up to the June 3 primary. West Hollywood Councilman John Duran, former Assemblywoman and state Senator Sheila Kuehl and Santa Monica Councilman Bobby Shriver were among eight candidates for the Third District seat.
