1 Dead, 4 Critically Injured When Car Plows Into Tree in Riverside County

One person was killed and four people were critically injured after a car crashed into a tree in Jurupa Valley, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The solo-vehicle collision occurred around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Camino Real (map), the fire department’s incident page stated.

The injured would be transported by ground to local area hospitals, according to the fire department.

A total of 21 firefighters responded to the scene, the incident page said.

Cal Fire was also assisting.
