Investigators were trying to determine how a taxiing plane ended up crashing into a wall at Van Nuys Airport Wednesday morning.
The plane was moving at a very low speed when it struck the wall just after 8:30 a.m. at the airport located on Sherman Way (map), according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
An ambulance was on scene, but no injuries were initially reported in the incident, Scott said.
It was unclear what caused the Cessna plane to veer into the wall.
Police and fire crews were conducting an investigation, aerial video from Sky5 showed.
The plane did not catch fire and the impact was minimal, Scott said.
