A hospital patient has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly attacked a 91-year-old man who was sharing a room with him at an Orange County hospital, authorities said Friday.
Prosecutors said Ibrahim Yousef Battat, 36, tried to suffocate the 91-year-old patient and then began beating him, leaving him with a broken finger and cuts and scrapes.
