Missing 75-Year-Old Pico Rivera Woman Found Safe

Update: Romelia Franco was located early Sunday morning near the Los Angeles International Airport, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities on Saturday asked for the public’s help in finding a missing Pico Rivera woman who suffers from early onset dementia.

Romelia Franco, 75, was last seen driving away from her residence in the 7000 block of Farmland Avenue (map) about 9 a.m. Friday, according to Detective Tamar Abraham of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Franco, who suffers from high blood pressure, was driving a burgundy 1989 Cadillac Seville two-door with license plate No. 2NKG077, Abraham said in a statement.

She is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches, 156 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a birthmark on her left cheek. She was last seen wearing a brown blouse, brown pants and brown shoes.
