Arcadia Man, 60, Arrested for Allegedly Growing Marijuana

A 60-year-old Arcadia man was arrested for allegedly cultivating an undisclosed amount of marijuana in his home, the Arcadia Police Department stated Sunday.

Police discovered the growing operation after viewing a suspicious vehicle in the 2000 block of South Sixth Avenue (map) around 10 p.m. Saturday and conducting an investigation, a news release stated.

The grow consisted of lighting, ventilation and electrical wiring running throughout the house.

Yong Fa Jiang was arrested and held in lieu of $10,000 bail for a felony violation, the release stated.
