The Los Angeles Kings’ Stanley Cup victory celebration will continue Monday with a downtown parade.
The festivities are set for noon, with the procession beginning at Figueroa and 5th streets and ending at Staples Center.
The Kings’ 3-2 double-overtime victory Friday night over the New York Rangers gave the team its second Stanley Cup in three years. The Kings won the NHL championship in 2012.
Meanwhile, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti is ready to collect on his bet with New York Mayor Bill de Blasio.
