A Montrose man accused of stalking actress Sandra Bullock was charged Wednesday with possessing an arsenal of weapons, including a half dozen machine guns.
Joshua James Corbett was charged with 19 felony counts, including seven counts of possession of a machine gun, two counts of possession of an assault weapon and 10 counts of possession of a destructive device, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The weapons were discovered during a search of Corbett’s home following his arrest for allegedly burglarizing Bullock’s West Los Angeles home on June 8, the release stated.
The 39-year-old pleaded not guilty in court on Wednesday to the weapons charges.
He also pleaded not guilty last week to the stalking and burglary charges.
If convicted as charged in the weapons case, Corbett faced more than 12 years in county jail.
Corbett was being held on $2 million bail and was due back in court on July 2.
