Disneyland-goers were treated to an unwanted attraction at the theme park on Sunday — a fire that was visible across the park.
The fire broke out on a loading dock in the backstage area of the park around 4:20 p.m., according to Lisa Greathouse, a spokeswoman for Disneyland Resort.
Fire crews were able to knock dock the flames in about 20 minutes, Greathouse said.
Plumes of black smoke were visible from various parts of the park, including in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and Toontown, according to photos posted on Twitter.
No injuries were reported. It was not immediately clear what property was damaged by the fire, Greathouse said.
Disneyland was not evacuated as a result of the blaze.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
KTLA’s Crystal Garcia contributed to this report.
