The Battleship Iowa extends a welcome aboard, no charge to active duty service members and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.
The weekend event is part of IOWA Remembers, the annual series of events and ceremonies presented by the Pacific Battleship Center aboard Battleship IOWA.
USS Iowa served with distinction in World War Two and in the Korean War. She concluded her active duty in 1990 as the Berlin Wall crumbled marking the final days of the Cold War.
