Police in West Covina were hoping someone might recognize a man sought in a robbery at a “Bank of the West” branch on Tuesday.
At about 3:34 p.m. the robber entered the bank in the 400 block of South Glendora Avenue, according to a news release from the West Covina Police Department.
He handed the teller a note and after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash the man fled the bank, the release stated.
The robber did not use a weapon and no one was injured, police said.
He was described as a Hispanic man with black hair in his 20s, standing 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds with a thin build.
He was clean shaven and was wearing a dark baseball cap with an unknown red logo, dark sunglasses, a blue and green Pendleton shirt over an orange T-shirt and blue jeans, the release stated.
The robber appeared to have a possible tattoo on the left front side of his neck.
