A man was approached in the driveway of his home by a person who brandished a firearm and demanded his money around 9 a.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of North Crestview Drive (map), Fullerton Police Department Lt. Andrew Goodrich said.

It was believed the crime was committed by a man who robbed three Fullerton homes Sunday, Goodrich said.

In all three instances, the man entered the homes through a partially opened garage door and demanded the residents money.

The Sunday robber was described as a white or Hispanic male, standing between 6-feet and 6-foot-4 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds, police said. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a bandana.

The weapon was believed to be a black-semi automatic handgun.

According to police, the description given in the three Sunday robberies matched the same one in three other robberies that occurred in the same area about six weeks earlier.

Anyone with information about the incidents was asked to call Fullerton police Detective M. Magliano at 714-738-6753.
