The chase began at 2:30 a.m. when officers attempted to stop the Escalade at Citron Street and Romneya Drive and the driver would not pull over, according to Lt. Bob Dunn with the Anaheim Police Department.

It ended a short time later when the Escalade crashed through a furniture store located at the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Valencia Drive.

Officers detained a female juvenile at the scene, Dunn said.

An adult male fled on foot and ran into a nearby house. A resident notified police, and they went over to the home, according to Dunn.

The man eventually came out of the residence after officers ordered everyone out.

It was not immediately clear if the man or the juvenile were arrested, but both were placed in handcuffs outside the store, video from the scene showed.

Police did not say why they had initially tried to pull the SUV over.
