A man who allegedly broke into a Sherman Oaks medical building sustained minor injuries after being bit by a police K-9, according to Los Angeles Police Department officials.

The owner of the building saw someone break in on surveillance cameras and reported a commercial burglary near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Burbank Boulevard (map) around 4 a.m., LAPD Sgt. Don Muniz said.

He was not compliant and was subsequently bit, Muniz said.
