The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. Monday at a home in the 1300 block of Brunswick Avenue (map), according to the South Pasadena Police Department.

"I immediately grabbed my phone," said the neighbor who shot the video from across the street. She asked not to be identified.

"For half a second I thought about calling 911, and then I thought: No, let's get some evidence," she told KTLA.

In the video, two of the men are seen hastily entering a black four-door Nissan before a third man drives away. The car had no license plates.

Two televisions, a laptop, radio and an unknown amount of cash were stolen, police said.

"I think an important message to the people out there is … it's the holiday season, there's a lot of expensive gifts. Things in homes, they're worth value," said police Sgt. Robert Bartl. "Lock your doors, lock your windows, set your alarms. Don't become complacent."
