Man Shot Outside Reseda’s Copper Bucket Bar; Police Searching for Gunman

Police were searching for a gunman who shot a man in the chest following an argument at a Reseda bar Saturday, according to Los Angeles Police Department officials.

The shooting occurred outside the Copper Bucket, located at 17715 Vanowen St. (map), just before 2 a.m.

“Verbal argument that resulted in a physical fight which led to a shooting,” LAPD Sgt. David Bambrick said. “Victim was shot once and transported to a local hospital.”

The man was said to be in stable condition.

The gunman drove away from the scene following the shooting. A description of the man and vehicle were not available.

It was not known if the incident was gang-related.
