A plumber's van that was stolen from outside a home in Orange over the weekend was located Monday by police following up on tips from two KTLA viewers.

Surveillance video showed the van being stolen early Sunday morning from owner David Turner's home on Baldwin Ave.

After a report about the stolen van aired on KTLA, Turner said he received calls from two viewers who reported seeing the truck near Alondra Blvd. and Gunlock Ave. in Compton.

Police later located the truck and verified the license plate.

When it was stolen, the truck contained about $20,000 worth of plumbing equipment, Turner said.  None of the equipment was found inside the truck.

Turner said his van was insured, but the equipment was not.

Turner, whose wife Vera is 5 months pregnant, said he poured his heart and soul into his company and for someone to just come and take everything doesn't make any sense.
