Several residents have complained since a bee apiary was constructed near a residential neighborhood in Thousand Oaks. After our report, a spokesman for the apiary responded saying the apiary operated with all regulations and laws.

"They are registered, have adequate signage and water supply and are well beyond the legally required distance," said spokesman Chris Gates.

Gates added that the bees were already scheduled to be permanently removed in the next few weeks.
