2 Injured When Vehicle Crashes Into Yard of South L.A. Home

A vehicle struck two parked cars before crashing into the front yard of a home in South Los Angeles early Sunday morning, injuring two people, authorities said.

The incident happened about 2:38 a.m. near the intersection of West Century Boulevard and South Vermont Avenue, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.

One of the two injured persons was taken to a hospital; the other was released at the scene, the LAPD said.

The condition of the transported person was unknown.

It was unclear if the two patients were inside one of the vehicles at the time of the collision.

No arrests were made in connection with the crash, police said.
