Woman, 27, Fatally Wounded in Torrance Shooting; Civilian Vehicle Crashes En Route to Hospital

A 27-year-old woman was fatally wounded outside a Torrance bowling alley early Saturday morning and was later involved in a traffic collision while being taken to a hospital in a private vehicle, police said.

The shooting happened shortly before 1 a.m. in the parking lot of Gable House Bowl, in the 2200 block of Hawthorne Boulevard (map), said Sgt. R.J. Connor of the Torrance Police Department.

A private party was transporting Mytatiyana Conner to a hospital when the vehicle crashed, leaving the driver with minor injuries, authorities said.

The injured woman later died, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Three people were subsequently arrested in connection with the shooting, according to the Police Department.

No other information was released.
