SUV Crashes Into House, Injuring 4 People Including Pedestrian

At least three people were critically injured when an SUV jumped a sidewalk and drove across a front yard before hitting a house in South Los Angeles.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 400 block of E 116th Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott.

The vehicle came to rest on its side, on the elevated front porch of the home, Scott said.

A total of four people were involved in the crash; three inside the vehicle and a pedestrian.

Three people suffered critical injuries and one was in fair condition, according to Scott.

It was not clear who the injured were.
