The collision was reported shortly before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Firestone and Miramonte boulevards (map), according to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic incident page.

Aerial video from Sky5 showed the downed light pole on top of a silver two-door car with a man standing nearby talking on his cellphone.
