Three children were injured after a waterspout "unrooted" a bounce house at a Fort Lauderdale beach on Memorial Day, sending it high up in the air, across a parking lot and into a roadway, police said.

Video shot by Raquel Lima captured the waterspout as it came ashore on May 25, 2015, and blew the bounce house over.

Dramatic cellphone video captured the waterspout as it came ashore Monday, overturned the bounce house and sent beachgoers scrambling. Several people could be heard screaming in the background.

Another video posted to Facebook showed the bounce house rolling over on the sand several times before being tossed up into the air.

"There's kids on it," one man yelled.

Three juveniles were left injured and in unknown conditions, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department tweeted at about 10:05 a.m.

According to CNN, the injuries included broken bones, cut and bruises. All were expected to recover.

Local television station WPLG later reported that at least one was in serious condition.
