An allegedly armed man appeared to turn himself over to sheriff's deputies Tuesday morning after an hourslong barricade at a Temple City home that had children inside, video showed.

A possible domestic dispute led to a standoff involving a man who had access to multiple weapons at a home in the 5200 block of McClintock Avenue (map) around 11 p.m. Monday, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials said.

An unknown number of children were inside the home during the barricade, officials confirmed. A SWAT team responded.

Although officials did not immediately confirm the barricade had ended, video of the scene shortly before 5 a.m. showed a man appearing to turn himself over to sheriff's deputies.

A young boy and girl were carried away from the home by deputies, video showed.
