Teen Fatally Shot in Bellflower; Gunman Sought

A 17-year-old was fatally shot in Bellflower on Halloween and sheriff’s deputies were searching Sunday for the gunman.

The teen was standing in the 16100 block of Bellflower Boulevard around 10:45 p.m. Saturday when a vehicle drove up and a gunman shot at the victim, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department news release.

The victim was hit multiple times and pronounced dead at a hospital.

The gunman fled northbound on Bellflower in what was believed to be a newer-model, gray Honda.
