December 7, 1941. President Franklin Roosevelt described it as a date which will live in infamy. The United States was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

Saturday, the Commemorative Air Force’s Southern California Wing remembers with a special presentation starting at 10am, which includes Japanese Zero aircraft used in the bombing of Pearl Harbor as well as other iconic World War Two aircraft including the P-51 Mustang and the F6F Hellcat.

Another Pearl Harbor remembrance is taking place at the PLANES OF FAME AIR MUSEUM in Chino. World War Two aircraft, including the Japanese Zero fighter and the Boeing P-26 Peashooter are on display and World War Two aviation experts are available to answer questions about the historic planes and the Pearl Harbor attack.

The Battleship Iowa will also have a Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony Tuesday, December 7th, but the crew of the historic vessel also wants us to know the Battleship Iowa is the best place to watch Saturday night’s Annual Los Angeles Harbor Holiday Afloat Parade.

From 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, admire the beautifully decorated sailboats and yachts. This event includes a visit from Santa Claus, holiday crafts for children, carolers and holiday music, and front row viewing of the 53rd annual boat parade.
