At least a dozen vehicles traveling on the northbound 405 Freeway got flat tires after hitting debris in the roadway in the Mission Hills area Thursday.
Initial reports of vehicles with flats pulling to the right side near Rinaldi Street at about 12:40 p.m.
The person who called said vehicles had struck cement debris that was in lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic incident log.
One caller said a chunk of the roadway was sticking up.
A SigAlert was issued at 1:10 for the No. 2 lane and was canceled after less than half an hour. A pot hole was repaired, CHP’s log stated.
Twelve to 15 vehicles were affected, the log said.
