The Home Depot plans to hire 2,000 people in the Los Angeles area and more than 80,000 nationwide in anticipation of a busy spring selling season, the company stated in a news release Wednesday.
The home improvement company stated they were looking to fill permanent, part-time and seasonal positions in nearly 2,000 stores nationwide.
The 80,000 plus job opportunities included sales, operations and cashier positions across all departments, according to the news release.
The company also stated they planned to fill 2,000 of those positions in the Los Angeles area.
“There’s no better time to join our team than spring, whether you’re a college student, recent grad or a veteran hoping to build a career, a retiree who wants a fun job, or anyone who simply enjoys home improvement,” Vice President of Human Resources Tim Crow stated in the news release.
