Spring does not officially arrive until March 19th, but all of this color would make you think Spring has sprung!

The Craft & Folk Art Museum presents Little Dreams in Glass and Metal: Enameling in America, 1920 to the Present, the first nationally traveling exhibition of enamel arts in more than 50 years.
Enameling — the art of fusing glass to metal through a high temperature firing process — is an under-documented art form rich in history, technique, and visual opulence. The exhibition explores the history of enameling in this country over the past 100 years through objects ranging from cloisonné jewelry to large abstract wall panels.
To add to your enjoyment of the exhibit , there’s a CraftLab Family Workshop. Learning how to emboss and paint on thin aluminum sheets to create their own shimmering creations. Classes are $7.00 for adults; $5.00 for children; and free for Craft and Folk Art Museum members.

All aboard! Join the Easter Bunny at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris. The Easter Bunny will hop through the train, greet each child with a special treat and pose for a photo.
Children can then decorate Easter baskets and follow a treasure map to find Easter eggs and other goodies. The fun continues with bunny hop potato sack and egg races, a bounce house, and other activities.

Let’s play! The 14th annual Radio Control & Action Technology Expo brings lots of action to the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa.
RCX, the world’s largest Radio Control and Action Technology Expo, showcases and celebrates all things in the world of radio control, action technology, drones, robotics, aviation, and racing.
The newly expanded UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), Drone Village includes demos, Drone Film-Festival clips, question-and-answer sessions with drone experts, and a new, massive RC dirt surface-racing course built by Motorhead Raceway. The track boasts intense jumps, turns and terrain for both electric and nitro RC car racing.
The RC-Retail Marketplace event favorite, “try-me” tracks, from Horizon Hobby and Traxxas are available. Plus, there will be a 3D demo area, model rocket building, robots, drag racing, a thrilling Monster Truck Ride along, and more. Full-size horsepower will be on display with vehicles such as the Traxxas Chevrolet Camaro SS that Funny Car pilot Courtney Force races.

There’s more action in Pomona at the Third Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine & Muscle Car Nationals. The Fairplex is filled with more than one-thousand of the hottest hot rods and muscle cars from professional car builders to car enthusiasts from southern California.

Look up! Kites are filling the skies above the Redondo Beach Pier for the 42nd Festival of the Kite. Event organizer say this “ all – ages free event” is open to the public, where we are invited to help launch a massive 25-foot by 14-foot kite.
Prizes are awarded for the best hand-made kite, best ground display, highest-flying kite, and the youngest and youngest at heart kite flyers.
