Customers can bring in their own cups on March 18 and 19 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and fill them up with their favorite Slurpee flavor for $1.50, according to the company’s website.

Containers other than cups were also welcome, but the site did list a few rules regarding the Slurpee promotion.

  • The cup must fit upright through a 10-inch hole
  • The cup must be clean and food safe
  • The cup must be watertight and not leak
  • Only one cup per person

Customers were also encouraged to share pics of their unusual Slurpee cups by using #byocupday on Instagram and Twitter.

One picture posted to Instagram showed the hole your cup must fit through to be eligible.
