Police Ask for Help in Identifying Man Suspected of Indecent Exposure in Sherman Oaks

Police detectives on Wednesday continued to ask for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of indecent exposure in Sherman Oaks.

The incident occurred about 6 p.m. April 14, when the suspect was seen in the 15000 block of Moorpark Street, according to a statement released Tuesday by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Residents reported that the suspect exposed himself and masturbated in a public area, the news release said.

The man is described as white, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with a tattoo on his left arm. A photo provided by police shows the suspect standing on a sidewalk in front of a home, shirtless, wearing tights and a hat.
