Four vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred near the Rosecrans Avenue offramp about 12:41 a.m., said Officer Francisco Villalobos with the California Highway Patrol.

One person, identified as a Hispanic male who was about 24 years old, was killed in the crash, Villalobos confirmed.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.

Villalobos could not confirm if the victim was on a motorcycle at the time of the crash, but video showed a badly damaged motorcycle at the scene.

A SigAlert was issued for the closure of all northbound lanes on the 710 Freeway from Rosecrans Avenue to the 105 Freeway just before 1 a.m.

The lanes were reopened several hours later, according to a tweet from the CHP.
