A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies targeting gardeners in South Los Angeles and believe another suspect remains at large, LAPD officials said.

Aaron Deon Seymour, of Los Angeles, was booked Tuesday on suspicion of robbery and is being held without bail, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

He is suspected of committing eight armed robberies since March 18.

In the incidents, the suspects approached the gardeners while they were working, showed a handgun and demanded money, police said in a news release.

The suspects then ran away and have also been seen leaving in a car described as a white Mercedes.
