Authorities managed to track down Twonn Alonzo McCoy Thursday, after following up on several leads from witnesses and surveillance video, the San Bernardino Police Department stated in a news release.

McCoy allegedly pulled out a gun and shot a pregnant woman as the two were sitting in a car in the 1300 block of North F Street on May 29.

The victim was in critical condition when she was taken to a nearby hospital.

Following the shooting, McCoy fled on foot to a nearby gas station on West Baseline Street where he robbed the business at gunpoint and then carjacked a customer in the parking lot, according to the Police Department.

The carjacked vehicle was later found along the 10 Freeway in the Fontana area.
