Ventura Tattoo Artist Arrested on Suspicion of Sexually Assaulting Customer

A tattoo artist in Ventura has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a customer, police said Monday.

Ventura County Sheriff's officials released this photo of Jamie Garza, who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman while working on a tattoo.

Jamie Garza, 51, was arrested on May 25 after he allegedly sexually assaulted an Oxnard woman at High Class Tattoo, 51 South Victoria Ave.

The incident was reported on March 6, but police investigated the matter and gathered evidence. A warrant was issued for Garza’s arrest on May 17 and he was arrested days later outside his Camarillo home.

Ventura police continue to investigate the crime and are seeking to identify other potential victims.
