Power Restored to More Than 10,000 SoCal Edison Customers in Santa Ana After Outage

A power outage in Santa Ana on Saturday afternoon temporarily left 10,267 customers without electricity, Southern California Edison said.

The outage began about 3:45 p.m., the utility said. Electricity was restored to most customers by 7 p.m., according to Edison’s website, and later to all customers.

It was unclear what caused the incident, which occurred amid an ongoing heat wave in Southern California.
