Thousand Oaks Man Arrested on Suspicion of Sexually Assaulting Woman He Met at Drug Rehab Program

A 63-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman he met at a substance abuse treatment program in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County Sheriff’s officials said.

The incident was reported about 1 a.m. June 12 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road. The 50-year-old victim told deputies that William Beliveau allowed her to stay with him at a hotel, where the assault allegedly occurred.

During the investigation, two additional victims claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Beliveau under similar circumstances, officials said.

He was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on June 25 and his bail was set at $500,000, according to the sheriff’s office.
