Young Man on Motorcycle Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Reseda; Driver Sought: LAPD

A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Reseda Wednesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The collision occurred around 6:45 a.m. in the 19300 block of West Vanowen Street, at the corner of Tampa Avenue.

Erwan Mckeown, of Agoura Hills, died at the scene. His body was covered in a pink sheet on the sidewalk, next to a stoplight and not far from the motorcycle wreckage, Sky5 aerial video showed.

Police are searching for the hit-and-run vehicle, a white pickup truck with metal panels on the back, Bustos said. A description of the driver was not provided.

Surveillance video of the vehicle was expected to be released by police sometime Wednesday.

The deadly crash is under investigation.
