Fullerton Police Officials Investigate Shooting at Motorcycle Event That Left Man Injured

Fullerton Police Department officials are investigating a shooting that left a man injured during a motorcycle event.

The shooting was reported about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday at a bike shop in the 1800 block of West Commonwealth Avenue.

Hundreds of people were gathered for a monthly motorcycle event when two men got into an altercation, police said.

Witnesses said one man pulled out a gun and shot the other man in the stomach. The suspect then took off on a motorcycle before police arrived.

The fight leading up to the shooting was caught on surveillance video.

The 50-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital by his friends.

He told police that he did not know the suspect and the motive behind the crime remains unclear.
