Burbank resident Daniel Holbert is accused to assaulting the woman during a session at her Santa Clarita home, Deputy District Attorney Emily Cole said. He faces one felony count of sexual penetration by a foreign object by fraudulent representation.

Holbert, 48, was arrested Aug. 23 at G-Train Fitness in North Hollywood and was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in superior court. He could face three years in state prison if convicted as charged.

The victim claims she was sexually assaulted during a March 12 house call.

She said she first received treatment from Holbert at the North Hollywood gym. When he eventually proposed meeting in her home for added privacy, she agreed since he had always behaved appropriately, authorities said.

Holbert conducted sessions at G-Train but was not an employee at the gym, the L.A. Times reported.

Detectives are looking to speak with other women who may have been assaulted by the suspect. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the sheriff’s department at 877-710-5273.
