Man Sought in Pomona Road Rage Shooting; No Injuries Reported

A man is being sought in connection with a road rage shooting incident in Pomona, officials said.

The incident was reported about 7:25 p.m. Sunday and five people were in the SUV that was shot at.

The driver of the SUV and the suspect apparently were involved in a “mutual road rage incident” in the area of Washington and Kingsley avenues, when the victim followed the suspect to Clark Avenue and Pasadena Street, police said.

The suspect then pulled over, got out of the vehicle and fired two rounds toward the victim’s vehicle.

The victim’s vehicle was not struck and no injuries were reported.

Police said the victim was in the vehicle with a woman and three children.

Video from the scene showed the victims being interviewed by authorities.

The suspect is described as a man between 20 and 25 years old, with a thin build and mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark blue Dodgers cap and a dark-colored shirt.

He faces assault with a deadly weapon charges.
