LASD Detectives Seize Guns, Thousands of Dollars; Arrest 4 in US, Mexico Border Narco Investigation

Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Narcos investigators seized eight AR-15 rifles, one shotgun, one .50 caliber rifle, one handgun and several thousand dollars in cash on Wednesday after arresting four people in Oxnard. 

Investigators entered a home in the 1900 block of Arcadia Street around 5 p.m. after reports of a Ford F-150 pickup truck transporting narcotics across the United States- Mexico border. 

There, deputies discovered a host of weapons and stacks of cash, authorities said.

Deputies arrested 23 year-old Allison Aguilar-Cosio, a Mexican national; Alejandro Tello, 23, Omar Ortiz, 23, and 35 year-old Israel Guillen, all residents of Oxnard. 

The four were each arrested for possession of an assault weapon and possession of a .50 caliber rifle.

They were transported and booked at the Ventura County Sheriff’s Jail and are being held on a $100,000 bail.
