A water main break in West Hollywood has left 36 customers and one business without water service Saturday morning, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The break happened around 3:05 a.m. in the 700 block of North Westmont Drive.

Crews worked on containing the water spewing from the 6-inch, cast iron main for over an hour, said Albert Rodriguez of the LADWP.

Witnesses say there was some minor flooding, leaving at least one garage covered in mud.

Service is expected to be repaired and restored by 12:00 p.m.
