Store Clerk Killed in North Hollywood Liquor Store Shooting, Police Searching for 2 Suspects

A  man was killed early Sunday following a shooting at a North Hollywood liquor store, and the two suspects were outstanding, LAPD reported.

Officers responded to the deadly shooting just after midnight at the A & D Liquor Mart located in the 12600 block of Sherman Way, near Bellaire Avenue. Police said the 45-year-old store clerk was shot during an attempted robbery.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the suspects were a man and a woman, but did not release any other descriptive details.

The store's owner told KTLA the shooter appeared to be a young woman, and the shooting was caught on surveillance camera.

The suspects fled the scene, but did not appear to get any cash or merchandise.
