Los Angeles Firefighters Battle Brush Fire in Griffith Park

Firefighters battled a 1/2 acre brush fire that erupted in Griffith Park on Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire began 4730 Crystal Springs Drive around 3:00 p.m. No structures were threatened by the blaze, officials said.

More than 74 firefighters worked on extinguishing the flames and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters will remain on the scene to extinguish any hot-spots that remain, according to the LAFD.
