Disney has unveiled the design for its “Guardians of the Galaxy”-themed ride that will replace the immensely popular “Tower of Terror” attraction at California Adventure park next year.

The new adventure — called “Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT!” — will open summer 2017, and for the first time, the ride’s creators have offered a sneak peak of what to expect.

The exterior of the attraction is meant to depict a warehouse belonging to The Collector, a character in the franchise.

“This ‘warehouse, fortress-like power plant’  is designed to be intimidating and imposing, but also shimmering and regal. It will be the ideal location for The Collector to secure and show off his most prized acquisitions, the Guardians of the Galaxy,” a Disney blog post read.

Once completed, it will look like a “brand-new attraction,” according to its creators.

The “epic new adventure” will combine the free-fall sensation familiar to fans of the “Tower of Terror” attraction with visual and audio effects inspired by “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

“Guests will experience a variety of randomized ride experiences, so you never know which adventure you will get,” the Disney blog post stated.

“Tower of Terror” is set to close on Jan. 2 to make way for the new attraction.
