Man Fatally Shot in Commerce: LASD

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man who was shot in Commerce Wednesday.

Deputies were responding to a gunshot victim call around 3:30 p.m. when they learned of a potential gunshot victim on the 4600 block of Noakes Street, about two miles away, according to a press release from Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Upon arriving, authorities said they found a man in the passenger seat of a car suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man has yet to be identified by the coroner, deputies said.

Authorities did not identify a suspect or release a description.
