A critical missing person advisory was issued for Jasveen Dhaliwal, 25, after friends and family members hadn’t seen or heard from her since she was dropped off by her mother at her home in Cypress on Monday.

Dhaliwal’s abandoned vehicle was found later that night by workers from a water treatment facility in Lake Arrowhead, the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station posted on Facebook.

Arrowhead Highway Patrol officers and Twin Peaks deputies responded to the scene and found Dhaliwal’s personal belongings inside the vehicle.

Dhaliwal had hiked in the area before and had a history of depression, prompting family members to be concerned for her well-being, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

On Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Department updated their post to state that Dhaliwal had been located safely and medical personnel were en route to check on her vitals.

No further details were immediately available.
