A fourth person who was injured in a West Adams birthday party shooting over the weekend has died as police continue to investigate the chaotic incident, LAPD officials said Monday.

The shooting was reported about 12:30 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 2900 block of Rimpau Boulevard where a birthday party was being held. The residence also serves as an underground, non-permitted Jamaican restaurant, Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Liliana Preciado told the Los Angeles Times.

Three people died after the shooting and 12 people were injured. One of the 12 victims who had been listed in critical condition later died, Detective Meghan Aguilar told KTLA Monday.

None of the victims have been identified, pending notification or relatives, but they are all male, officials said.

Detectives are working to identify witnesses to the incident and are attempting to piece together what happened, the Times reported.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the crime. Mowayne McKay, 33, and Diego Reid, 25, both Jamaican nationals, have been booked on suspicion of murder.

Police said a dispute broke out between a male and McKay and Reid, one of whom pulled out a handgun and shot the other party.
