Julie Nguyen, 33, was found about 3:30 p.m. in her home along the 800 block of North Louise Street after police had been asked to check on her well being.

The Orange County Coroner's Office declared the death a homicide, but it is unclear how she died, police said in a news release.

Police believe the woman might have been dead for a few days before she was found.

Neighbors told KTLA that four or five people lived in the home and had recently moved to the neighborhood.

Nguyen’s boyfriend was questioned after the discovery, but he was released pending further investigation, police said.
